You have to enter a name manually for those fields then make the Item Class a member of the field you entered.
Micros POS Support / Micros Oracle - Invisible Condiment Selections in Simphony
« Last post by jtstiff on March 12, 2017, 01:28:14 PM »
When creating new menu item classes, we copy a working item class and rename it.  Everything should be functional, but when we assign the item class to an item and look at it in Simphony, the condiment selection is just gone.  The item still tells you that the condiment is there and you haven't finished the selection, but the condiment isn't there.  I've tried everything in Page Design, Item Maintenance and Item Class.  It's a brand new database with all new terminals.  Even Micros Support thinks what we're doing should work.  Anyone ever run into this?

Can someone please share the pdf file
Good Morning
I have noticed that randomly when a employee swipes their Mag card to log into the POS terminal the terminal will freeze and reboot.  Running 6.7.70 Aloha Version. Debout for the terminal  is not showing much and this is random. In some cases the entire system reboots and not just the single terminal.

  Any One seen this before
Micros POS Support / Micros e7 card reader failing
« Last post by e7user on February 28, 2017, 02:55:01 PM »
I am having an issue with the integrated card reader failing on my micros workstation - is there a fix? I have already purchased the cleaning cards (plain & waffled) and cleaning did not work. If it cannot be fixed, can I add on an external card reader using available USB ports?

Aloha POS Support / Table Number on Kitchen and Bar Chits
« Last post by clarkj03 on February 25, 2017, 01:00:16 AM »
Brand new system.  Coming from HSI which was a Micros product for hotels.

In our Piano bar, when our servers swipe in a card when starting a tab, it replaces the table number with the guest name from the CC on the Kitchen and Bar chits.

This makes food running TERRIBLE.  Servers are constantly having to double look up checks on the screens... our onsite Aloha guy said there was no way to print the table number once we swiped a card.

Is there no way to add a permanent field for table number that doesn't get modified when swiping in a CC to start a tab?

Thanks for your help,

Aloha POS Support / Re: Aloha database integration

We use Visual Foxpro (version6) to manipulate Aloha .DBF files. I can send you an install that will allow you to do whatever you want with .DBF files. We have applications that read the daily grind files in order to send Aloha data to accounting and payroll systems.

You can read the live Aloha data files as well as the ones in the Grind folders, but you probably should not write to the live data, although it is possible to do so.
