Metrologic ms9520

Im going absolutely crazy.

Im developing a ticket application. A barcode reader is used to scan a ticket barcode, validate it against a DB and return a signal to the barcode reader if it was OK or NOTOK.

I can receive the data from the reader. I can validatie the barcode against my DB. But I have no idea how to communicate a signal BACK to the barcode reader.

Once again: I can receive the barcode signal FROM the reader, just dont know how to send a signal TO the reader.

I need a code sample on how this can be done!

if useful: my barcode reader is a metrologic ms9520.
