HELP!!! Habitat for Humanity Retail Store need to enter price at register...

How can POS be setup so that the cashier just selects an item (such as "furniture", or "CD/DVD"), and then enter the price manually for every sale?  The thrift store keeps track of units sold for each category, but does not keep an inventory, so when a customer buys a piece of furniture, (or whatever) the cashier just selects "furniture" and then needs to be prompted for the price.

How can this be setup in MS POS?
