Variable commissions
« on: January 07, 2008, 01:03:14 AM »
I just inherited a computer system with QB POS4 pro on it from the store we just bought. The problem is that I would like to keep this program (as I like the way it performs)…

HOWEVER we have a commissioned based pay scale for our employers; we need the cost price to show for all the items (for the check out screen), then have our sales guys and gals be able all the prices and have only the changed price show on the customers receipt; YET have the price difference between the cost and quoted price depicted somewhere so I can calculate the commissions, GP, etc.

                      Thanks,
                             Jo

*ALSO can we merge two QB POS files into one (i.e. use two computers and just have one database file)

So you want to show the xost on the sale screen?? I do not believe there is a setting for that, maybe you can use item detail to see cost??
