Symbol LS-2000MX Series - What's needed to get them working?
« on: March 25, 2008, 12:46:50 AM »

Good morning all,

I have some Symbol LS-2000MX series barcode scanners, with no cables.

What is the minimum amount of equipment I need to get them working on a PC?  It it as simple as getting a RJ-45 to PS/2 adapter, or do they need something more substantial?

Here are the specific model numbers:

One LS-2000MX
Two LS-2020MX
One LS-2080MX

Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way!

I think you need the PS-2 interface cables or else the USB interface cables.
