HALO POS Review

I've been using HALO for over a year in a bar and although it's a good system, not the best for a bar or restaurant, despite getting some award or accolade that it's the best pos.  This is my first pos experience and although I thought I did a lot of research, there are so many things that I didn't even think would be an issue that has become inconvenient. They do have 24 hour tech support and at first their response time was fairly good, within minutes of calling, they would call back.  Recently, it's taken over half an hour on hold to get someone on the line or if I do leave a message, it takes over an hour and I call again. Sometimes I've gotten call backs the next day.  


At the moment looking to change software or systems and trying to do the research.  If anyone has suggestions, please let me know, especially since I'm based in Hawaii, options are limited and not convenient since a lot of companies run on east coast times.

Hello simplebar, thank you for your very valuable feedback about Halo POS. I sincerely apologize for your negative experience calling in to our support line. As you noted, we have received many awards and accolades recently, which has increased our customer base substantially. The influx of new customers admittedly put a strain on our technical support team and sometimes callers with how-to questions or similar non-urgent issues were waiting longer than normal for a call back.

I can assure you that great progress has been made recently in this area and we have returned to being able to provide not just excellent, but also timely customer support.
