Corrupted database
« on: September 07, 2010, 04:01:27 PM »
I use Quicksell 2000 POS.  My database has corrupted before and I have always been able to fix it with "Doctor".  This time it does not work.  What can I do?

Back up EVERYTHING, do a fresh install and import data from old database to new one.

It is your structure that is corrupted, not the data in the fields. So it should fix it.

Thank you for your help.  I don't know how to reinstall and transfer the database.  Any suggestions?

well it is always wise to take regular backups of your database and just relying on an anti virus to resurrect it is not the safest thing to do. if database has been corrupted then i think it will be very tough to restore it.
