Using containers for pricing in E7
« on: September 04, 2010, 10:44:02 AM »
Hello all,

Have a need to create containered pricing on E7 for our take-out sides.  I have implemented the pricing in the configurator using "container only" pricing, specified my prefixes and specified the pricing for small, medium and large.

The issue is when I sign-in and take a table/order - when the containered item is selected, it defaults to small without letting me choose the appropriate size.

This is my first venture into using the container pricing, so I'm flying by the seat of my pants on this one.  Normally I'd just use cond groups for each one, but I want to streamline our POS as much as possible.

Cheers,

Chef:
Check your transaction screen (Touch Screens) make sure all three boxes of the SLU are visible.  I have seen some cases where this has been minimized to maximize the space on the screen (you would not have needed the thin top bar of the SLU if you haven't used containers before).  There should be a thin bar at the top, a larger bar in the middle and the same on the bottom.  That thin bar on top let's you select the container size.

If that isn't the solution let us know.
