Connectivity
« on: August 28, 2010, 09:20:26 PM »
I'm helping somoeone set up the micros e7 system and I cannot get the workstations to connect to the pc.  The pc part indicates the pc part is active and the workstations are inactive.  The workstations indicate they are active but the pc part is inactive.  Is it a problem with the router or the way the network is setup?

e7 does not NEED ip addreses to work.
But if you have ip addresses, that makes it easier.
Make sure that all workstations and pc can ping each other.
Then check for the node in the configurator.
Make sure that each workstation has its own node and that the pc is listed as a different node
Then sign into a workstation and try to set the pc active.
Let me know if that helps.
