how do I start from scratch lost the administrator id now can't make any changes in the system. I know there is a way to reset it in SQL, but I don't have a user id or password for that either...  Any suggestions?

Do you know what version of RES this is?
Depending on the version, there are some default dba passwords that will get you access to the sql database and allow you to change a user's password.
lease post the Micros version and I will reply with the next step.

Try 4053389994.  That works to gain access to anything in micros.

Sorry to burst bubbles, but the number listed below 4053389994 is a "micros card number" and will only get access to the system it was set up on, not to ALL micros systems or locations.
You would need the dba password in order to get into  sequel.
