Magellan 8100 Scanner

Hi,

I have a Magellan 8100 scanner/scale but i can't get it to work. I've downloaded the opos driver from data logic's website along with the dual tester software. The scanner/scale works fine in the dual test software but as soon as I exit out of the software then it stops working. Seems like something needs to be turned on or configured for the scanner to work but I don't know where. I have looked everywhere but could not find a solution for this. I've tried using the scanner on comcash pos system and cash register express but with the same results. Can someone please help?

Turn on your "tester" software, minimize it, then try again in Comcash or CRE and report back please.. Sounds like you need to configure your OPOS drivers. Have you contacted ComCash or CRE?

I tried that already but it doesn't work. It beeps but the bar code doesn't show up. I've tried contacting Comcash and they say to contact data logic. Data logic support isn't that great so I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

The scale works fine cuz i have it hooked up to an older pos system. I'm thinking the problem might be with the Magellan scanner\scale. It seems like something is no turned on or configured correctly.
