Aloha fileserver Question
« on: March 25, 2010, 08:53:42 PM »
Hello everyone!!
I work for a restaurant that has one server and two terminals.
Yesterday we had a problem with the server, so we had to turn one of the terminals into the fileserver.

My question is this:
Now that the server is working again, how do it make it the file server??

Please, I need some help!!!

Thank you all in advance!

Juan

Aloha will stay in redudancy (or backup mode) for up to 21 days.  After that it will stop working.   You should call your Aloha dealer for assistance in recovering the system and your sales data for the day in back-up mode.

If your fileserver is operating again, you can recover your fileserver and push ur current day sales data from the terminal to the fileserver by logging into to aloha manager under utilities > fileserver recovery.

You will then need to copy the dated subs directories from the terminal to the aloha folder on the fileserver so aloha grind can fire.
