Author Topic: Labeling Credit Card transactions after deactivating Innuit Merchant Services  (Read 789 times)

We recently decided to try a local credit card merchant processing system and ended our relationship with Innuit Merchant Services.  My POS manual says that I can easily label a transaction as credit card (all I have to do is select the type of credit card from a drop down menu) but even though the Innuit service is deactivated, the credit card selection area is grayed out and I can't choose a credit card type and accept the payment as credit card.  In the meantime, I've had to label the transaction as either cash or check.  Is there a setting I need to change?  Thanks.

Oh I figured it out!  When I called to check on my gift card merchant processing application, the representative mentioned that I should probably delete the now defunct credit merchant number from my POS system in the Company Preferences section.  So I did, then saved the setting and now I can label all of my credit card transactions as credit card.
